Default A question aboout page - full page template

Hello, I wonder if anybody can advice:

I have a test site which is using the full page template.
I just added a photo album (nextgen)
When I click on the album, a new page is launched showing the contents of the album...
But the 'new' page is not set to the full page template - it's set to the default.

You can take a look at what's happening here:
http://testwp.is-now-ready.com/society-events
Click on the album and see the new page come up, including sidebars.

I'm wondering what page this theme uses to create that (temp?) page, and
how I may set it so that it's also using the full page template.

Thank you for looking
Jose

it's because that's a post, not a page. You'd need to create a special category template for that...http://wordpressgarage.com/tips/giving- ... ategories/ or else make it into a page...

I found a workaround which I thought may help non coders like myself:

I basically made a couple of changes to index.php, since the site is full width then I figured making this change is ok.
I have kept a note in case the site ever needs to revert to a sidebar style site.

Your post about craeting new categories would make things very neat and prevent any confusion at a later stage but it was a little daring for me to try out on a live site, and I didn't have the time to test. However your answer gave me the insite so full credit where it's due!

This is what I did:

go to Full Page Template
copy tag: <div id="contentwide">

go to <div id="contentwide">
replace tag <div id="contentleft"> with <div id="contentwide">

rem out sidebar:

Thanks again
Jose
