funky question about my blog design

Hey Guys,

Trying to match my site bootcampworkoutsecrets.com design with http://ericwongmma.com/.

Client wants full or partial blog post to show on the home page like erciwongmma.com. I changed how many characters should show on the home page but it does not format like a regular blog post. It is still bunched up like when it would show an excerpt.

is there a way to show full blog posts with just a read more tag so the posts displays normally on the Home Page?

I remember the revolution magazine theme used to show full posts on the home page and you could limit it with a "more tag"
