What are " Link relationship (XFN) and "Link target"?

link relationship i'm not sure i have ever even used. Frther reading: http://codex.wordpress.org/Defining_...ships_with_XFN

Link target is if you want the link to open in a new window or not.

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen it used. Not sure why it hasn't been removed from WP itself.
