homepage feature posts not showing

The same glitch has happend with my site two or three times, and each time I've just had to reinstall all the theme files, and for the most part it would be fine after. On top of my featured posts not showing - I also had a few glitches on the backend of the theme (i.e. the page templates weren't visible as I was publishing pages and the previous pages I had already published had lost their template). But, now everything seems to be going alright - it's got to be some whacky conflicts with randoms plugins; anyways I hope this helps you out a little, or more-so it should provide you with a little hope atleast!
