Default Thumbnail on home2.php

I realize that when using the page 'home2'and specifically the dynamic post screen, the thumbnail appears over the text instead of beside.
Whan can I do in order to modify this setting in order to see it beside ?

Thank you for the provided explanations.
I have another question concerning this subject: how can I remove the blank line between the title and the main text? (please see the following example http://barbara.patounemedia.net )

Go into your style sheet and reduce the padding on these selectors

#homepagebottom h1 {
color: #222222;
font-size: 14px;
font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS;
font-weight: normal;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px 0px 5px 0px;
line-height: 22px;
}

#homepagebottom h1 a, #homepagebottom h1 a:visited {
color: #222222;
font-size: 14px;
font-family: Georgia, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS;
font-weight: normal;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px 0px 5px 0px;
line-height: 22px;
border: none;
}

Hi,

I can't see the white line you're talking about. Is it on the home page? Which browser are you using?
