What is the average file size of your images?
How many large photos are on a single page? Are you using Photoshop to do your photo edits? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From my understanding it is imperative to make the file sizes as low as possible. The bigger the size, the slower it will load. I personally try to never exceed 200KB. You want to crop the photo down to the exact size you need. If you have Photoshop: There is an option in CS5 Photoshop "Save for Web and Other Devices," and this allows you to optimize for quality and file size. You want to reduce the quality as much as possible without creating visible pixelation. For most photos a "50-70" quality out of "100" gives you just that. |
