For the benefit of anyone else looking to do this, I ran across a plug-in that does it VERY easily, with thumbnails. It's called LinkWithin. You can see it here on my site, below the post in a section that begins with "You might like these stories."

My only complaint is that the thumbnails are a little grainy, but I have only just begun testing.

Note that I currently am also using the YARP (Yet Another Related Post) plug-in. After a little testing, I'll probably just stick with one and disable the other.

Anyone else try LinkWithin? I welcome any comments or feedback.
