I'm having an issue when I copy and paste URLS in my posts. I have weekly posts that I do which require the same intro. So from week to week, I usually copy that intro from one post to another. But something weird happens when I copy and paste, it automatically inserts additional parameters in the URL. For example:
After copying & pasting this multiple times in posts, I finally realized that there was an issue. This URL should read: ilovetogossip.com/targetcoupons. Instead because I've copied and pasted it a few times it looks like this: http://www.ilovetogossip.com/categor...target-coupons which obviously results in a 404 error. Any idea as to why this is happening? |

Paste the link into notepad to ensure you have copied it correctly.
If so, make sure you copy/paste from HTML mode. Doing this from the visual mode could grad the wrong html.
