Creating a role only for a gallery?

Is it possible in some way to create an user only having the capability to add pictures into a gallery, or at least not having the capability to edit other old posts?

It would be perfect if several picture publishers could have an own private page, with separate gallerys.

I use NextGEN Gallery in this case.

A very complex plugin, but right on the spot!
I installed it but for some reason it cut of the amount of "child´s" in the navbar, only showing 3.

Have to digg into this later.
