FYI here is what MailChimp says about including affiliate links in emails:

In regards to your questions about affiliate marketing, please note that, in the general sense, we can support this content so long as the following is in place:

* Data is collected through confirmable opt-in methods. There are no assumptions about permission in play.

* The affiliate content is used to compliment traditional newsletter content and is not the exclusive focus of the messaging being sent.

Including partner links is acceptable so long as they are directly related to the business and are only used to supplement the newsletter.
