Thanks Debra, that did the trick, I didn't get "people help" over there but eventaully found their "known issues" thread which indicated that FCG still has issues working with "formbuilder" plugin.

So disabled that and it all works great now.

I don't know if you have a known issues thread here for the FCG or not but it would be good for others coming here first to see it somewhere and sorry if it is here but I missed it.
