according to the official announcement,

However, personally I would keep a copy of all files you've modded - if you've made changes to the style sheet, header, footer, etc - and then upload the new theme files, and upload your old ones one by one. I think they will be somewhat compatible, but I haven't tried it yet to say for sure.
