Hi - I am using the archive template and I'm wondering if there is a way to ONLY call in a specific category? Or is there a better way to do this with a plugin/shortcode/hook I can use to make this happen?
More specifically: I'm creating a "testimonial" page and want a page that calls in all posts with the category "testimonial" assigned to it. Thanks in advance. |

Go here for a similar tutorial on creating a single category page. The only difference is to be sure to select the Archive Page template ( in lieu of the Blog Page template) from the Page Attributes box on the right hand side of your screen when you create a new page.
This is the easiest way to do it without writing a new loop. If the 'Custom Fields' metabox is not displaying when you are adding a new page, go to the top of the page and click the 'screen options' tab and make sure the 'Custom Fields' box is checked.
