Unhappy Login page shows after readers comment. How do I turn this off?

I have disabled the option requiring users to login. However, sometimes when readers comment they are taken to the log-in page. They can x out of it and their comment still shows up. But, some are filling out the information and then entering as users into my site. I can't seem to shut this off. Help!

Can I get a link to your site, so I can go look?

Please deactivate all plugins first to see if any of those are interfering.

Deactivate *all* plugins. Something is definitely redirecting.

Okay, the only things I have left are Blogger to Wordpress and Wordpress importer. I'm not sure if those can be deactivated?

Yes. They can stay that way assuming you already imported your posts.

I can't find where to upgrade.
And...every plugin is deactivated and it's still doing it.

We do not do anything to your .htaccess file. That is something only your host can help with.

To upgrade your forum account, use the "upgrade account" link on the left here:
http://www.studiopress.com/support/usercp.php

Fill in the transaction ID that came with your genesis purchase.
