Default Saving page changes URL

Every time I save changes to a page, the URL adds -2 to the end.
for example, first time I save: domain.com/dancer-2
next time I save: domain.com/dancer-2-2
then domain.com/dancer-2-2-2
These are not NEW pages, just each time I save a page

any ideas?

They are saving as new pages then. Wordpress adds the -2 to the end.

You could also have a plugin doing it.

No, I did not ask for a login. :) Please deactivate ALL your plugins and try again.

This is not theme related.

Nothing in any of our themes should affect permalinks. WHAT theme are you using? Can I get a link to your site, so I can go look?

I;m not asking for an admin login, just a link to the front of your site.

Great since the issue is resolved, I'll close the thread. If you have more questions, please open a new thread.
