Hello I have a friend who is going to move their site to a new server, Currently their permalinks are set up as domain/date/post_title; this was to accommodate a system that indexed the mls on their site. Once they move the site they will not need this structure, do we have to do re-directs on every page and post if we change the permalink to domain/post_title. Secondly does this issue with the permalink make a big difference for the search engines?
Thanks, John |
