Default Wordpress "add new" post

Hi People,
Ok, i have my site setup so that users can post to the site (from the front-end), the users can also login and view/delete their post BUT when they visit the "post" page that annoying little button called "add new" keeps appearing!

I know i can hide this using css, or probably install a plugin BUT how can i STOP access to the add new page without using plugins or css??

If someone could help or point me in the right direction that would be great!

Cheers in advance.

I'm afraid I"m not sure which button you are referring to. I'm guessing you are using a plugin to achieve the ability to add posts from the front end. Please check with the plugin author for usage instructions. Thanks.

Hi Nick,
From the front-end i am using gravity forms. The button i am referring to is on the page when you click "all post" Do ya know which one i mean now? The posting from the front end isnt really the problem.

Cheers again for the help.

Do you mean on the backend of the site? This is part of WordPress functionality. Please ask at the wp.org forums to see if that can be removed.

Glad you like the support, I just don't know the answer for how that could be removed on the backend. There is just too much code in WordPress for my to keep all of it straight. I've talked with a couple of the main WP devs and they keep it all in their head. It is kinda scary how smart they are.
