Problems with Comments

I have had a few readers tell me they are unable to leave comments on my blog. I am not sure what type of error they are receiving. I tried disabling Jetpack. I think the problem may be with "blogger" comments. When I test it out, if I just put down a name and email, the comment goes through. But it I put a website, particularly a blogger website, I see the little spinning wheel and it never goes through.
Any thoughts?
