Default Regsitration and Membership Plugin Needed

I am looking for a good plugin that does a number of things.

1. Allows you to modify the registration/profile questions.

2. Takes the answers from these questions and creates a list of member/member directory.

3. Allows the members to update upload a picture to go with their profile.

4. Allows members to login and modify their profile. (The members would only be subscribers. With no access to site pages or posts.)

Here is a page that shows the the type of member directory my client is looking for. This program does meet all the above criteria, but is not a WP/SP site.

I would appreciate any suggestions. My client is willing to pay for a plugin, but not a ton...

It might be overkill, but BuddyPress does all of that. You will probably want to buy Genesis Connect to get a head start on integrating it with Genesis.

Thank you. BuddyPress may also be something he will use more if the site actually takes off. Will it do the member directory with pictures, and specific information that can be altered?

You can make custom membership information in BuddyPress and there is a members page with BuddyPress listing all the members.

Last questions. I have now installed BuddyPress and Genesis Connect. I have gone through the BuddyPress site, and do not find any clear instructions or user guide. Is there a place I can get basic instructions for how to set-up BuddyPress. I'm having a number of problems, as would like some basic tutorials...

BuddyPress does not do a good job of documentation usage or advanced usage. You will need to use Google some to find the best resources. I took the time to find a good basic getting started guide
