Div with an image inside that appears overtop

I was inspired by one of the themes in the showcase http://keywestlistings.com/

I see that they have a flower image with a transparent background inside a div, but what kind of code would you add to your stylesheet?

we can't really say exactly how to do things that are done by designers submitting to the showcase. Partly because we can't always know exactly how they have done it and partly because it is their work. I can say you will be able to use a tool like Firebug to see the CSS and HTML of the site.
