I've looked all over and can't find the answer to this question that makes sense or does what I need it to do. I know how to create complex page templates in Wordpress and display custom field data.
However, I do not understand how to do that in Genesis. For whatever reason something is not clicking and I've tried every "tutorial" I can find. Very simply what I want to do is create a page template called book. The book page template will display several pieces of custom field data (which are entered via the Custom Field Template plugin on the WP Pages admin page ) laid out all pretty like. Price, Blurb, Genre, etc. I understand how to name the book page template and of course, how to select that template in the WP Page dropdown. It's all the code that displays the custom field data with that I don't understand. I'd appreciate some help. Thanks! |

how would you normally do this. Could you paste some example code that you have tried so I have an idea where you are on this customization and will better be able to provide advice on how to move forward.
