Question 2 (hopefully) Quick Questions

Hello!

The company I work for has used Drupal for several years and we are considering moving over to Genesis since Drupal seems to be losing its critical mass. I have two questions though (at least for now).

1. Does Genesis/Wordpress have solid options for offline WYSIWYG? Drupal no longer supports this and at least of of the staff prefers this method. As it stands, she is having to write a post in Word then cut and paste the text into the online Drupal WYSIWYG interface which often breaks the post and leaves all sort of markup tags that cause havoc.

2. Does the Genesis framework play nice with non-StudioPress modules/plugins or only those designed by StudioPress?

Thanks for your help!

That's more general WP, since it;s offline it does not interact with the theme. And yes, there's a few different options.

There's over 20,000 in the Wordpress plugins repository. :) In general, any of the popular plugins work just fine. We follow WP best practises as much as we can.
