Event ticketing/ class registration plugin?

I'm looking for a simple way to have users register and pay for classes and workshops at a yoga studio site I'm creating. On a previous non-WP website, I designed and integrated PayPal buttons, and inserted the code specifically for each event/class. It was tedious and a little clunky.

I've incorporated the Events Calendar plugin into this new site, but I don't want to use their EventBrite payment option, as it adds more costs, and they don't yet have another ticketing solution.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a more streamlined solution for PayPal or other payment systems? Something that could be integrated into listing posts/pages would probably be ideal. I looked at WP Event Ticketing but I'd like to get recommendations first.

Thanks SoZo--but I was hoping to find an add-on I could incorporate into the current Events Calendar pages for pricing/ticketing--rather than start over from the ground up with a new plugin.
