How do I move my test site live?

Default How do I move my test site live?
Hi,
I have now set up a new Wordpress site for a customer that was originally CSS/HTML.
I have set up the new Wordpress area in a subdirectory of the main site like www.mainsite.com/wp/
However, I am now ready to trash the original site and want to move the site that is currently in /wp/ directory to the route directory.
How do I do this please?
