I agree it must be something on this computer, but the heck of it is figuring out what it is. :?

UPDATE:

I found the problem. I uninstalled an add-on called "SEO Toolbar" from seobook.com. That eliminated the problem. I downloaded and re-installed the toolbar again, and everything is fine still.

Must have been a glitch in the previous installation of that toolbar.
