Search for the PODS plugins. There is a base plugin and at least one user interface plugin. They have a big learning curve. You will need to try something small first and work your way up to what you want, but they feature some pretty powerful tools.

Another alternative is the TDO mini-forms plugin. It's a little faster to setup, but much more PHP programmer oriented than the PODS plugin. And it has almost no documentation.

You could also use one of the Role Manager plugins to grant access to publishing by role.

With all these choices, you will first need to figure out how to publish the video and gallery sections of your web site. You want to make publishing as dead simple for your contributors as possible.

Use a top-down problem solving approach. Break your project down by tasks into small steps and then solve for each manageable step.

Ok, thanks. That is something i will have to really read up on and see what i can do down the road. In the mean time could i do something as follows.

I understand how to add albums and videos as far as the admin so is there a way that i could habe a submit button or something like that when a member wanted to share a picture/album they could click this submit button and get a form that will allow them to enter some basic info name and so on and allow them to attach the pic or album and send to me. Same with the videos with the exception they would just give me the you tube url to there video. This would also allow me to manage whats beening put on the site, just creates a little more work for me but could be for the better.

With this i would just need a good image gallery plugin and also a good video plugin to diplay them in a nice way for members to browse through the many i have uploaded.

So what are your thoughts and do you have any suggestions on what gallery and video plugins might be capable of a layout that would work nice for me.

Thanks for your help!

Search the WordPress plugins for a contact form that allows uploads. They are made to go inline in a page or post. Add that to a separate page and provide a button or link to that page.

Sorry. I don't know of any. You could post a new topic about this. I'll ignore it so someone more experienced can respond.
