Adew is correct here - you have to remember the cross browser issues when changing the layout with the CSS side of things - alot of time has already been put into these themes to make them cross-browser supported. So if you take my route - you can bet on having to revalidate your css and double checking the cross-browser compatibility - which can be a pain in the arse :-)
