Hey,
Thanks for the cool plug-in. like many guys in here, Me too had the problem with Wordpress 2.6.5. It was not just working, the images and posts were stacked one over the other. I then deactivated all the plugins and it worked fine. After that I reactivated all the plugins and there was no more problems. So try deactivating all the plugins and then reactivate them. I use these plugins, so they are fully compatible: All in One SEO Pack Author Highlight Breadcrumb Navigation XT cforms FeedBurner FeedSmith Google XML Sitemaps Kontera ContentLink Lighter Menus MobilePress MyAdManager Sociable Subscribe To Comments Theme Test Drive Top Commentators Widget Wordpress Thread Comment (This plugin works very well on Revolution themes, its like Revolution is made for this) wp-cache WP-PageNavi Yet Another Related Posts Plugin I hope that helps you out. See a live Gallery at http://www.millionclues.com Does having a large number of active plugins increase the page load time..? Also, I have about 75 inactive plugins, will that have any effect on Page load time..? Thanks in advance for the answers. Cheers and Merry Christmas |

Update
I just tried activating this plugin: My Category Order ( http://www.geekyweekly.com/mycategoryorder) and the gallery collapsed, i deactivated it and everything is fine. So this is an incompatible plugin. Cheers |

I am unable to get YARP to work with FCG. I've tried deactivating everything and reactiving it, but the FCG refuses to load.
Going to try an update to 2.7 later today, but the blog is years old with tons of online content, so a complete backup, while necessary, is time consuming. |

Not sure what YARP is... a plugin?

YARP is short for "Yet Another Related Posts" plugin. It's a fantastic plugin that "breaks" FCG. I really love FCG, but I also really love YARP. Trying to figure out what the incompatibility is today on a slow traffic day.

Hmm, this is odd. I just reactivated YARP, and now they work fine together. Will have to figure out if it was another plugin that might have been a third party problem between the two. I'll start reactivating others I recently killed and figure out what the cause might be. Argh.
Edit: Ok, this is the oddity. The FCG works, but SOME images do not load. When I deactivate YARP, all the images load fine. In fact, I just noticed: I have 6 featured articles on the gallery. Only TWO images load, and they're for the wrong articles. Very, very bizarre. |

I "fixed" the YARP problem doing the following:
1. Go to Settings in the admin panel, then click on "Related Posts" 2. Scroll down to near the bottom of the huge admin page and UNCHECK "Display related posts in feeds?" Problem solved. It's not a plug-in compatibility issue, it was that the plugin was inserting code into the RSS feed, which is also used by FCG. Works great now! |

After hours of browsing through this forum I also finally found my "solution" to the problem of FCG not showing properly: the Lightbox plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/lig ... ss-plugin/) is conflicting with FCG.
Would it be an idea to make a sticky post somewhere in this forum with a list of known issues with plugins that break the FCG plugin? Cheers, Piet |
