Default interesting thing happened to me with Google

I had a domain name that nobody bought so I made a website and got it to page one of "scottsdale plastic surgeon", well today my site is nowhere to be found, under any search terms. I was going to cold call the doctors in town and try to sell the site once it got to the best searches.

I think a webmaster working for one of the plastic surgeons turned me in, I guess it is against Google's policy to optimize sites that are for sale; I suppose the domain name is no longer any good either. Has this ever happened to anyone? The domain was scottsdale-plasticsurgeon.com.

John
