Hide Widgets except on Home Page

Hi,

I want to do the opposite to this thread:http://www.studiopress.com/support/s...dget+hide+page

i.e I want to show my footer widgets on the homepage - but not on any of the other pages.

Is this possible?

Happy to get my hands dirty with code.
