Confusion on Genesis Framework Purchase

Hey, this might be a really really dumb question. But here goes.

I bought Genesis + Minimum child theme for my business website.

I want to offer custom design work on the Genesis framework.

I added the affiliate program so my new clients would purchase StudioPress products thru my website. Do they buy both the Genesis + Child Theme packages or do they only have to buy a theme and I install Genesis framework? Thank you in advance
