Moving from One Domain to Another Domain - Best Practices

Does anyone have any best practices for moving my WP/Studiopress site from one domain to a new domain?

For example, I've created a test/dev site on DomainA.com and I now want to move to a 'production' site on DomainB.com.

I am using the Enterprise child theme (with the WP-Cycle plugin) as well as the Gravity Forms plugin.

I have tried to move from one domain to another in the past and it seems to be quite the headache (i.e. widgets not being moved over, images missing, etc.). So I thought I would reach out to the community to receive any tips on doing this headache-free.
