eleven40 Child Theme navigation bar not working?

Default eleven40 Child Theme navigation bar not working?
I have the Eleven40 theme installed and everything is working except for the drop down navigation menu that is supposed to be to the right of the logo to access the other pages.. its completely missing.. I try creating a menu and adding the pages to the "primary navigation but it shows up below the header for some reason? Someone please help on this.
