Issues with Featured Content Plugin

I have installed the Featured Content plugin. It works fine (some tweaking to do). However, it appears within my Blog page instead of the landing page (see below).

I have also setup WP so that my Blog does not appear on my landing page but as a separate page on the site (see below).

I have looked everywhere for why this is happening.

Help....... :?:
