duplicate [Read More] and Read More ->

Just updated to WP 2.8 and Streamlined 3, but still have the same issue:

All my posts have a manual <--more--> tag from the old days.

However, when the <--more--> is less than the_content_limit(400 I get 2 "read more" statements, although only the WP one is a link.

So literally, I have the Streamlined [Read more] and then the actual link Read More ->

I have not seen this happen in any other theme.

Can you fix this please?
