Picture Allignment

As you can see i have put in a New Added Toys Section and underneath that i have put some toys and text - i was wondering how would you put them next to each other instead of underneath so it would be picture then some text which would stop half way then put a picture and then some text. Would this need to be a css table? if so what is the html for that as i have tried a whole host of different things and none are working especially if i put in a code to wrap a box around the pic & text it just disappears!.
