Problem posting links from my site to Facebook

Wondering if anyone else ever experiences this... I sometimes am completely unable to post a link to my site on Facebook. If I put the url in the status update box, it stays just a link, and I get no photo, no title, nothing. I get that preview box where the photo and title SHOULD be, but it just repeats the url.

Here's the weird conundrum...

1. It's not all the time. It doesn't seem to follow any pattern I can figure out.
2. The length of the URL does not matter.
3. Although I can't post MY link, I can post links to OTHER sites without a problem.
4. Although I can't post my link, OTHER PEOPLE can post my link to THEIR Facebook pages just fine.

It's so super frustrating and I was wondering if this has ever come up for anyone before. I literally can't do any Facebook promotion because I can't post to either my personal page or my fan page. I have another admin who I can ask to post to the fan page (and it works for him) but for whatever reason my account doesn't.
