I am new to wordpress

I just downloaded the Lifestyle theme. I am setting up a paid membership site and want to use WP as a CMS. From what I read your themes are the best to use for this.

But I am totally lost. I want to learn to set this up but don't know where to go for some tutoring. I don't want someone else to do it for me. I need to learn how to do it myself because I have other sites I need to set up as well. The entries on the tutorials aren't helping me this early in the game. I really need a step by step instruction. I have my site up and have activated the theme.

Now what. Can you make some suggestions on how I can get this type of tutoring. I am a quick learner.
