Thumbnail sizing and naming

I have two questions relating to thumbnails.

1. Can you tell me where the coding for the image size for thumbnails (for additional pictures) is located? I want to change the size to 120 x 80 to fit 4 across (for a maximum of 16 images). I've altered the listing.php and write-panel php for this, but the thumbnails still come out 150 x100.

2. Since I am creating and uploading my own thumbnails, is there a specific naming convention to be used for them to comply with the coding on the write-panel.php and listing.php pages?
