Unable to load "child" themes

Hi -- Genesis loads no problem. When I go to load a child theme--say, "education"--I get the following error message:

Destination folder already exists. /home/content/03/9316403/html/wp-content/themes/education/

Theme install failed.

Anyone thoughts as to what's up here (and how to rectify)? Thanks
