How do I create a POST Template w/out a sidebar

The sidebar is great for my current project.

But I need to create POSTS, not Pages - without the sidebar.

I'm fairly sure I just copy the Full page template to make a new post template..., rename it FullPost.php?

How do I make the new 'post-nosidebar.php' (FullPost.php) template to show up under the add a new post section?

This is a functions.php item I'm thinking here....?
