Solid line separating page content

Back again with the second question of the day...

Other than doing a cotinuous underline across the page, I am looking for a way that would enable me to show a line/narrow bar that would separate page content on a static frontpage, I'm not talking about separating post content.

I'm sure there is a way to do it, can someone advise me how?
