E news widget

Hi,
I am not a programmer and new to blogging....
I have a 3rd party e-mail provider which generates a code to make a form for someone to fill out and be automatically added to a list in my account. Can I cut and past into a widget to set this up? What is the widget I need? do I insert their code anywhere in your theme php or style sheet ?
