Moving An Existing Wordpress Blog To Genesis

Hello,

I would like to move my existing blog http://branduniq.com to the Genesis framework and a child theme that I need to customize. I would like to make all the changes, including child theme customization, while the current blog is live.
Could you please help me with the easiest method to make this transition, without loosing my current articles, links and settings? The blog is self-hosted on GoDaddy.
