Thumbnails and removing comments title

Hi,

I am running revolution Pro Business 1.0.

I have not really done too much messing around with my site over the past year or so, but want to make a few changes and have forgotten how to do a couple of things- any help would be greatly appreciated!

1. On the homepage I have a number of posts on the right. Each of these has a thumbnail which displays on that homepage. I now want to add a few new posts and have completely forgotten how to add a new thumbnail so that it appears on that page.

2. On the various posts I have disabled comments. However there is still a comments section (saying comments are closed) at the bottom of post pages. I would like to get rid of this.

try this make a copy of comments.php then open comments.php and find

<?php else : // comments are closed ?>

<p class="nocomments">Comments are closed.</p>

<?php endif; ?>

and change to

<?php else : // comments are closed ?>


<?php endif; ?>

Thank you for your reply.

Whilst that gets rid of the 'no comments' text I would still like to get rid of the heading of comments and the line that appeared above it.

Also- I may be being dense- but I could not find the answer to how to get thumbnails on the homepage for the posts at that link that you mentioned.
