Changing domain name in WordPress

Hello,

I hope I'm posting this in the appropriate forum. I've purchased the Streamline theme and will post specific theme-based questions in that forum.

I am in the process of converting an existing static website self-hosted to a WordPress site hosted at HostIcan. I'm using a domain name (domain.tv) to develop the new WordPress site and, when ready, would like to switch that over to the existing domain (domain.com).

Does anyone see any problems with this? If so, what is the best way to develop the site in stealth mode, than change the domain once it's ready?
