in line music player

I'm using Production theme for a video rich independent music label and need an inline music player plugin, rather than have a link that opens the mp3 file in some default oS mode. What solution would you recommend?

also , how can i embed a soundcloud link to display the waveform and allow the user to stay on the page and listen, .. main goal for both scenarios...
