Making hpbottom pull multiple categories?

I have spent the last 15 mins searching the forum but I can't seem to find an answer and I think the reason for that is because this is not possible due to the new lifestyle category options (I hope i'm wrong it was so easy before).

In the older version of this theme I could put as many category ids as i wanted and have hpbottom pull the latest posts from them. All I want is hpbottom to show the latest 5 posts from 3 categories. I tried doing it that way and it doesn't work it only pulls from the category in the options page.

How can I fix this? I hope that in future versions maybe we can have in the options page the ability to just add the category ids we want to add multiple categories instead of a drop down menu with the option of just adding 1 category.
