Question About Thumbs

With Lifestyle 4 do you need a separate image for the thumb and another for the featured article image? Is there also a 4.0 version of the Church theme?

Does the thumb resizing feature apply simply when you assign any image to the thumb field? If you assign a large size image of for example 800px x 600px will the thumb resizer automatically resize it to 70px x 70 px or whatever other size you specify for thumbs?
