Request for Info On Differences Between Rev One and Rev Two

In general I am unsure what the status of Rev One themes will be in the future.

Will there be any updates to Rev One themes to make them compatible with new versions of WordPress starting with WP 2.7 when it is realeased?

From what I have read, I understand that the rev one themes are still licensed only to those who purchased licenses for them and will not be open source. Is this correct?

Question on the featured content plugin. Will the featured content plugin work with Rev One themes or only Rev Two themes?

I am interested in possibly getting license to the Rev Two themes, but so far there don't seem to be any video tutorials or users manuals for the themes. Is there any detailed documentaion on these themes and how to set them up initially other than the forum?
